In The Movie Never Back Down, People Were Taping These Fights On Their Iphones. How?

I have an iphone. As many of you know through having one, or through your friends that you cant video tape anything. In the movie ” Never Back Down ” people were video taping the fights through their Iphones. How is this possible?

    I didn’t see it but maybe they were just taking pictures…or possibly it wasn’t an Iphone..it could be another type of touch like that one from verizon….
